Meet the team
Welcome to Cow Club, based at Kirvennie Farm in beautiful southwest Scotland.
We’re a family-run, grass-based dairy and free-range poultry farm with a passion for good food, healthy animals and sustainable farming.
Our journey began when Graham and Charlotte Armstrong returned to Graham’s family farm to build an innovative, forward-thinking business grounded in strong family values and respect for the land.
Kirvennie was once a traditional beef and sheep enterprise before branching into free-range poultry in 2010 and later converting to a grass-based dairy system in 2014.
Since then, we’ve been proud to produce high-quality, ethically raised milk and eggs — all while caring for our animals and the environment that supports them.
Graham & Charlotte Armstrong — Owners
The husband-and-wife team behind Cow Club.
Graham’s background in engineering brings a practical, problem-solving approach to running the farm. Having returned home in 2007 and taken sole-charge in 2015, he’s overseen the farm’s transition into a thriving, pasture-based dairy system.
Charlotte officially became a partner in 2025, bringing her equestrian background and international experience from years living in the U.S. Together, they balance business, family and life on the farm — often joined by their children, Lewis and Nieve.
When they’re not busy farming, Graham and Lewis can usually be found dirt biking and taking on enduro events, while Charlotte and Nieve share a love of horses and equestrian activities.

Davy — Dairy Manager
Davy keeps the dairy running smoothly and brings a wealth of experience (and humour) to every day.
He’s also a talented photographer — most of the images you see across our website were taken by him.
Known for his quick wit and love of AC/DC, Davy brings great energy, creativity and cohesion to the team.

Melvin — Dairyman
Joining us from the Philippines in 2023, Melvin brings valuable experience from New Zealand grazing systems.
His attention to detail and commitment to quality make him a real asset to the dairy team.
On top of that, his adventurous appetite keeps everyone entertained — we’ve discovered he’s willing to try just about anything on (or off) the menu!

Anthony — Youngstock Person
Anthony, also from the Philippines, joined the team in early 2024 and looks after our youngstock — from calves’ first days right through to joining the milking herd.
With previous experience in Israel and Holland, he’s a skilled stockperson with a sharp eye for spotting issues early and taking proactive care of the animals.
Always a friendly face and known for his calm nature, Anthony makes both the animals and the team feel at ease.

Steven — Dairy & Poultry Assistant
A former fisherman turned farmer, Steven is living proof that it’s never too late to learn something new.
Since joining us, he’s mastered everything from milking cows to collecting eggs — always willing to lend a hand wherever he’s needed.
His years on the water have also given him a remarkable ability to track and predict the weather, a skill that proves invaluable on the farm.
Beyond his hands-on expertise, Steven is like a walking encyclopaedia, full of fascinating facts and knowledge that keep everyone amused and intrigued.

Craig — Poultry Manager
Craig has been part of Kirvennie for over 15 years, playing a vital role in the success of our free-range poultry enterprise since its early days.
His deep knowledge of egg production and calm, experienced approach help keep the hens happy and healthy.
When he’s not in the sheds, you’ll often find him spending time with his family or watching and playing football.

Christian — Poultry assistant
Christian came to us in 2023 with extensive poultry experience, including time working in the USA.
He now works alongside Craig in the poultry unit, always bringing fresh ideas and a drive to improve how we do things.
Outside of work, he’s a talented leatherworker and chef, and well-known for his infectious laugh!

At Cow Club, we’re proud of the team that makes our farm what it is — hardworking, passionate and full of character.
Together, we’re building a sustainable future for our family, our animals and the land we call home.
